The Philadelphia Eagles are currently 2-4 and have lost four consecutive games. While Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has become used to being a buyer at the NFL’s trade deadline, he may have to change his mindset in 2026. Roseman needs to focus on the long-term outlook of the franchise and admit that the current window is closing.
Therefore, in preparation for the NFL’s trade deadline on November 10, I’ve created an inventory list for Philadelphia’s potential garage sale. In honor of my love for sports cards, I’ve divided the players into two categories: “Showcase Items” for the more valuable players and “Bargain Box Items” for the less noteworthy players. You may notice the absence of three Eagles players that have been mentioned in trade rumors.
I’ve excluded Saquon Barkley, Landon Dickerson and Zack Baun due to the dead cap hits that trading each player would trigger. I also believe that given the current state of the Eagles, it would be a bad look to move on from such noteworthy veterans, especially Barkley and Baun. Here are more details on the dead cap hits in 2027 for trading each of those three players, according to Spotrac:
Saquon Barkley: $26.4 million
Landon Dickerson: $23.4 million
Zack Baun: $22.3 million
Here’s a closer look at which Eagles players could be traded ahead of the trade deadline this season.
Showcase Items
Moro Ojomo, IDL
Asking Price: 2027 third-round pick
Ojomo is in the final year of his rookie contract and some have compared his career trajectory to that of former Eagles IDL Milton Williams. Therefore, many expect Ojomo to land a massive contract, potentially upwards of $100 million in free agency this upcoming offseason. A deal of that size would net the Eagles a 2028 third-round compensatory pick, which is why Philadelphia should seek a similar return in 2027 to warrant trading him now.
Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE
Asking Price: 2027 third-round pick
The Eagles exercised the fifth-year option in Smith’s rookie contract, which gives Philadelphia control of him until after next season. Yet given the team’s investment in veteran Jonathan Greenard are the potential of Jalyx Hunt, the Eagles could opt to move Smith at this year’s trade deadline. Given his potential and injury history, Smith’s situation reminds me of Chase Young a few years ago, when he was traded for a third-round pick at the trade deadline.
Riq Woolen, CB
Asking Price: 2027 fourth-round pick
Outside of Greenard, Philadelphia’s big move of the offseason was signing Woolen in free agency. While he has played well, Woolen has made his fair share of mistakes and I could see the Eagles being willing to part with him at the trade deadline. There are plenty of CB-needy teams around the NFL and given that he only signed a one-year deal with the Eagles following a surprisingly cold free agent market, it would be wise for Philadelphia to take advantage of Woolen’s value now.
Dallas Goedert, TE
Asking Price: 2027 fifth-round pick
After taking a perceived discount to return to the Eagles in the summer, Goedert has been one of the lone bright spots on offense this season. Yet given his expiring contract and the team’s investment in rookie TE Eli Stowers, it’s hard to envision Goedert returning in 2027. While Goedert’s free agent market may not be the hottest in the offseason, the Eagles could try to drum up a market and find a contender in need of TE help ahead of the trade deadline.
Bargain Box Items
Hollywood Brown, WR
Asking Price: 2027 sixth-round pick
The Eagles signed Brown to a one-year, $5 million deal in free agency. Yet Brown has yet to contribute on offense and has been inactive for Philadelphia’s last four games. To no surprise, Brown is reportedly viewed by teams around the NFL as a trade target. Given that the Eagles had a 2027 sixth-round compensatory pick cancelled out due to signing Brown, I’d expect Philadelphia to try and recoup that in any potential deal involving the veteran WR.
Elijah Moore, WR
Asking Price: 2027 seventh-round pick
If the Eagles are potentially shopping Brown, I’d guess that Philadelphia will be open to moving veteran WR Elijah Moore as well. Similar to Brown, Moore hasn’t had much of a consistent role in Philadelphia’s offense this season. The 26-year-old has bounced around the NFL in recent years and may not have any trade value at all but I’d expect the Eagles to at least make it known that he’s available.
Kelee Ringo, CB
Asking Price: 2027 seventh-round pick
A few years ago, many believed that Ringo had the potential to develop into a starting CB. Yet fast forward to 2026 and Ringo has clearly fallen out of favor in Philadelphia. Despite the Eagles utilizing five or six defensive backs at times, Ringo has yet to register a single defensive snap this season. While he has contributed on special teams, I believe that the Eagles would be willing to part with Ringo in the final year of his rookie contract.
Jonathan Jones, CB
Asking Price: 2027 seventh-round pick
If the Eagles ultimately trade Woolen, they would likely elect to hold onto Jones and start him across from Quinyon Mitchell on the outside. Yet if Woolen sticks around, I could see a CB-needy team giving the Eagles a call about his potential availability. The 33-year-old signed a one-year, $2 million deal to come to Philadelphia and he could make sense as a trade deadline addition for a contender given all of his experience — both outside and in the slot.
