Eagles-Cowboys Injury Report: Who Is Out for Week 7?

The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Dallas Cowboys for a divisional showdown at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 7. It’s safe to say that both teams have failed to live up to expectations and that this week’s matchup could have massive implications for each team moving forward. Here’s the updated injury report for both the Eagles and the Cowboys ahead of Monday night’s matchup.

Eagles Injury Report

Thursday, October 22, 2026

  • It wasn’t a surprise to see Michael Carter II and Nolan Smith Jr. listed as did not participate for Thursday’s practice. Carter missed last week’s game due to an abdomen injury, while Smith left last week’s game with a concussion. We’ll see if Smith has enough time to clear concussion protocol with the Eagles playing on Monday night.

  • There were four surprises among players that did not participate during Thursday’s practice: Willie Lampkin, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Dontayvion Wicks. All four players played last week but are now dealing with issues ahead of Monday night’s game. We’ll see if Smith, Goedert and Wicks are able to return to practice before the game, as today could’ve just been a scheduled day off to manage their injuries.

  • On the bright side, the Eagles had several key starters return to practice as limited participants on Thursday, headlined by Saquon Barkley. He was also joined by Landon Dickerson, Drew Kendall, Jonathan Greenard and Jalyx Hunt. It’s worth noting that Dickerson has now had a pectoral injury added to the knee injury that he was previously listed with.

  • It was surprising to see Jordan Davis as a full participant after he left last week’s game by slowly walking off the field before the final whistle. But it seems like he’ll be good to go for Week 7.

  • The Eagles currently have three open spots on the 53-man roster and that’s important with four players potentially ready to return from injured reserve. Jakorian Bennett, Grant Calcaterra and Eli Stowers are among that group, who were all full participants during Thursday’s practice.

Cowboys Injury Report

Thursday, October 22, 2026

  • Cowboys All-Pro returner KaVontae Turpin left last week’s game following the opening kickoff due to a rib injury. It sounds like Dallas is preparing to be without Turpin on Monday night.

  • Cowboys starting LB Dee Winters also left the team’s loss to the Green Bay Packers early. Winters recorded an interception before leaving last week’s game.

  • Given Winters’ injury, it’s worth noting that the Cowboys opened the 21-day practice window for LB Marist Liufau, who is on injured reserve due to a forearm injury. DeMarvion Overshown, who hasn’t played since Week 1, also practiced in full.

  • Similar to Overshown, Cowboys CB Cobie Durant also returned to practice following a lengthy absence on Thursday. Durant has missed the team’s last four games due to a hamstring injury.

  • Cowboys starters Tyler Guyton and George Pickens were limited during Thursday’s practice, although they’ll likely be fine for Monday night.
