NFL Top 100 Players of 2025: Which Eagles Will Make the List?

The lull in the NFL’s offseason is officially here as OTAs are over and we’re still several weeks from the start of training camp. Yet the league will continue to dominate headlines with the release of the annual and often debatable NFL Top 100 list.

2025 will be the 15th consecutive year of the list being revealed as players around the league have voted to create the Top 100. The list will be revealed starting on Monday, June 30th as two players will be announced on X, NFL+ and NFL.com each weekday until Friday, August 29th. Then the top 10 will be unveiled on Monday, September 1st at 8:00 PM on NFL Network.

After winning Super Bowl LIX, many expect the Philadelphia Eagles to be well represented on this year’s list. In 2024, only five Eagles players made the list and here is where they each ranked in the Top 100:

  • Jalen Hurts - 15

  • A.J. Brown - 21

  • Lane Johnson - 41

  • Saquon Barkley - 86

  • DeVonta Smith - 90

It’s important to note that the voting process for the Top 100 list takes place during the regular season. Voting is usually done between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, when players are asked to list the top 20 players in the NFL. If a player receives a first place vote, they receive 20 points. If they receive a second place vote, they receive 19 points, etc.

Once all of the voting is completed, the lists are entered into a spreadsheet, which then reveals the total points for each player that received a vote. Then the players are ranked from 100 to 1, based on their total number of points, and the often controversial list is eventually revealed to the public.

While Philadelphia’s epic Super Bowl run wasn’t accounted for during the voting process, it’s fair to expect that more than five players from the team will make this year’s list.

Here is my prediction for which Eagles players will make the Top 100 and where they might rank overall:

Cooper DeJean

Projected Rank: 94

DeJean didn’t receive his first NFL start until Week 6 of his rookie season, yet he helped completely transform Philadelphia’s defense. While rookie CB Quinyon Mitchell started more games and also played at a high level for the Eagles, I could see DeJean making the list because of his flashy plays. Especially DeJean’s tackle against Derrick Henry, which happened during the voting window for the Top 100.

Landon Dickerson

Projected Rank: 86

After making the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive year, Dickerson should finally receive the respect that he deserves. While the Top 100 list hasn’t historically been friendly to guards, Dickerson deserves to make the list. He is widely regarded as one of the best guards in the NFL and should make the list after playing at a high level through injury last season.

Jalen Carter

Projected Rank: 58

Carter is the poster child for traditional counting stats not showcasing a player’s true impact. While Carter only recorded 42 total tackles and 4.5 sacks during the regular season last year, his place was certainly felt by opposing offenses. Carter was a dominant force in his second year in the NFL and players around the league certainly took notice.

Jordan Mailata

Projected Rank: 40

Mailata was left off the Top 100 list entirely last season, which was a shock to many. Yet after another shutdown season protecting Jalen Hurts’ blindside, Mailata should certainly be ranked in the top half of the list. Mailata is now regarded as one of the top left tackles in the NFL and it felt like he started to gain the respect that he rightfully deserved last season.

Zack Baun

Projected Rank: 33

Baun exceed everyone’s expectations last season, including his own after he laughed at the Pro Bowl incentive in his contract. Yet Baun was a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year and led Philadelphia’s defense on a dominant Super Bowl winning run. New York Jets LB Quincy Williams bursted onto the scene in 2024 and was ranked in a similar spot in last year’s Top 100 list. While Baun could certainly be ranked higher, the timing of the voting process could work against him a bit.

A.J. Brown

Projected Rank: 25

There’s no denying that Brown is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Yet after ranking 21st overall in last year’s Top 100 list, I could see Brown falling a few spots after missing several games last season. Brown recorded nearly 40 less receptions and 377 less yards. Yet he saw his yards per reception increase from 13.7 to 16.1. The 28-year-old remains one of the top players in the league and should be ranked in the top quarter of the Top 100.

Lane Johnson

Projected Rank: 21

The ageless wonder just continues to play at an elite level for the Eagles, despite many calling for the team to draft his eventual replacement. It’s clear that Johnson still remains one of, if not, the best offensive tackles in the NFL. He allowed just one sack on 294 pass blocking snaps last season, according to Pro Football Focus. While Johnson was disappointed to be named a Second-team All-Pro in 2024, he should move up the ranks of the Top 100 list.

Jalen Hurts

Projected Rank: 18

Hurts saw his stats take a dip last season, yet he played the most efficient football of his NFL career. The 26-year-old star QB recorded a career-high passer rating of 103.7 and led the Eagles to victory in Super Bowl LIX. While Hurts likely won’t rank ahead of Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, he certainly belongs in the top 20 of this list.

Saquon Barkley

Projected Rank: 3

Similar to Baun, Barkley exceeded everyone’s expectations last season. While many opposing fans doubted if Barkley could succeed in Philadelphia, he helped power a dominant rushing attack and pushed for the MVP award. Barkley recorded over 2,000 rushing yards and likely could have broke the single-season rushing record if he played every regular season game. Yet Barkley will likely happily settle for a Super Bowl ring, as well as a spot in the top five of the Top 100 list.
