The Philadelphia Eagles will host the New York Giants for a divisional matchup at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 9. While the Eagles have lost six consecutive games and appear to be spiraling out of control, the Giants are coming off of a bye week and are in first place in the NFC East. Here’s the updated injury report for both the Eagles and the Giants ahead of Sunday’s game.
Eagles Injury Report
Wednesday, November 4, 2026
The Eagles released another lengthy injury report to start the days of preparation for Week 9. Seven players didn’t participate during Wednesday’s practice, headlined by a few familiar faces such as Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks. Given the team’s six-game losing streak, it feels like the smart thing to do would be to let the players rest before the bye week but after Barkley played last week, I’m not sure what the Eagles are going to do (at this point, are we sure that they even know?)
Eagles kicker Jake Elliott was a new addition to the injury report, as he was limited due to a right ankle injury. Maybe that explains his surprising missed field goal in Week 8 but it’s worth monitoring. Edge rushers Jonathan Greenard and Jalyx Hunt were also limited, which isn’t much of a surprise.
Eight players were full participants but still listed on the team’s injury report with ailments. Rookie starting right tackle Markel Bell is apparently dealing with a finger injury, which wasn’t listed in previous weeks. Tanner McKee and Kenny Moore II are also new additions to the injury report. Landon Dickerson also has his new weekly injury, as he’s now listed with a hip injury, after being listed with a pectoral injury in Week 8.
Giants Injury Report
Wednesday, November 4, 2026
Two notable second-year players missed practice for the Giants on Wednesday: Edge rusher Abdul Carter missed practice due to an illness, while running back Cam Skattebo is dealing with a hamstring injury. According to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, Giants head coach John Harbaugh said Carter “should be fine” and that Skattebo is day-to-day.
The remainder of New York’s injury report seems rather clean with no other players that appear to be in real jeopardy of missing Sunday’s game in Philadelphia.
