Eagles Trade Targets: 10 Players That Could Help in Philadelphia

It’s no longer sunny in the City of Brotherly Love. The Philadelphia Eagles have dropped back-to-back games and fans are worried that this is starting to feel all too similar to 2023. Yet the Eagles are 4-2 and there is still enough time for Philadelphia to right the ship in 2025.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has never been afraid to make a deal. Since August, Roseman has already made six trades, yet it’s hard to argue that Philadelphia was on the winning side of many of those moves.

Despite a recent streak of unsuccessful trades, it could be time for Roseman to reach back into his bag of tricks to fix this flawed roster. Here are 10 potential trade targets that could help in Philadelphia.

Denzel Ward, CB, CLE

The Eagles learned the hard way about life without rising star cornerback Quinyon Mitchell in Week 6. Now Roseman could be forced to make an addition and Cleveland Browns four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward is potentially the top player available.

The Browns are 1-5 and will likely be sellers at this year’s trade deadline. Ward has two years remaining on his five-year, $100.5 million contract extension that he signed in 2022. He would significantly raise the floor at CB2 opposite of Mitchell and bring much-needed stability to the position.

Trey Hendrickson, EDGE, CIN

Philadelphia’s pass rush off the edge has been non-existent in 2025. Nolan Smith Jr. is hurt, Jalyx Hunt has failed to take the next step and Za’Darius Smith just retired. Therefore, Roseman could look to make a big splash for an edge rusher ahead of this year’s trade deadline.

The Cincinnati Bengals had entertained trade offers for All-Pro edge rusher Trey Hendrickson during training camp. While he ultimately returned to Cincinnati on a restructured contract, the Bengals are currently 2-4 and could make him available once again.

If the Eagles are looking to make a big move at edge rusher, Hendrickson is easily the best player available. Yet he suffered a back injury in Week 6, which could make things tricky. Either way, Roseman should give the Bengals a call to check-in on Hendrickson’s status.

David Njoku, TE, CLE

The Eagles have utilized two or more tight ends on 33.8% of their offensive snaps in 2025. If Philadelphia is going to continue to lean on these personnel groupings, Roseman should consider upgrading the TE2 spot given Grant Calcaterra’s struggles as a blocker.

David Njoku is in the final year of his four-year, $54.7 million contract extension that he signed with the Browns in 2022. While he has played 333 offensive snaps for the Browns this season, rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has also played a huge role in Cleveland’s offense.

If the Browns are ready to embrace a youth movement on offense, it would be wise to move on from Njoku at this year’s trade deadline. The 29-year-old tight end would be a massive upgrade over Calcaterra at TE2 in Philadelphia this season.

Jaelan Phillips, EDGE, MIA

If you could build the ideal edge rusher for Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s scheme, they would probably look like Miami Dolphins edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. Yet the 26-year-old has been plagued by injuries throughout his career and has yet to be able to put it all together down in South Beach.

In Fangio’s only season as Miami’s defensive coordinator, Phillips was on pace for a career year before tearing his achilles. He had recorded 6.5 sacks in just eight games and was on a streak of five consecutive games with a sack before the injury.

Now the Dolphins are 1-5 and spiraling out of control with players questioning leadership. Miami should be sellers at the trade deadline and it feels like the perfect time to reunite Fangio and Phillips to provide Philadelphia’s edge rusher group with a much-needed boost.

Bradley Chubb, EDGE, MIA

Phillips isn’t the only edge rusher down in Miami that has experience working with Fangio. Bradley Chubb spent three seasons together with Fangio on the Denver Broncos before being reunited on the Dolphins in 2023.

Chubb missed all of last season due to a torn ACL but has played in all six of Miami’s games this season. He was viewed as a potential cut candidate during the offseason but then agreed to a restructured contract to remain with the Dolphins.

Now that the Dolphins are 1-5 and likely want to free up more snaps for second-year edge rusher Chop Robinson, Chubb could potentially be available. Given his extensive history with Fangio, Chubb would make sense as a potential trade target for the Eagles.

Kevin Zeitler, OL, TEN

The interior of Philadelphia’s offensive line has uncharacteristically struggled in 2025. Landon Dickerson is battling multiple injuries, Cam Jurgens hasn’t looked the same after undergoing back surgery in the offseason and Tyler Steen has been inconsistent.

Tennessee Titans veteran guard Kevin Zeitler would potentially provide some stability along the interior of Philadelphia’s offensive line. The 35-year-old signed a one-year, $9 million deal with the Titans in free agency.

Now the Titans are 1-5 and just fired head coach Brian Callahan. Zeitler would raise the floor at right guard in Philadelphia, which is the position that he has played for 14 seasons in the NFL, and allow Steen to fill-in for Dickerson until he’s healthy enough to return.

Tariq Woolen, CB, SEA

Tariq Woolen is in the final year of his rookie contract with the Seattle Seahawks. After a stellar start to his NFL career, Woolen has struggled to find his footing in Mike Macdonald’s defense.

Following the emergence of former Eagles cornerback Josh Jobe, some believe that Woolen could be available at the trade deadline. While he wouldn’t be a guaranteed solution at CB2, Woolen would likely be an upgrade over Adoree’ Jackson and Kelee Ringo in 2025.

Mark Andrews, TE, BAL

The Baltimore Ravens have fallen to 1-5 and have already shown signs that they could be sellers at the trade deadline this season. Baltimore traded promising edge rusher Odafe Oweh to the Los Angeles Chargers in the final year of his rookie contract earlier this month.

As the Ravens continue to lose games and deal with a plethora of injuries, Baltimore could look to offload a few veteran players soon. Similar to Njoku, Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is in the final year of a contract extension that he signed in 2021.

Isaiah Likely is set to be a free agent this upcoming offseason and the Ravens will likely prioritize bringing him back instead of Andrews. Therefore, Baltimore could look to get draft capital for Andrews now, who would provide the Eagles with an upgrade at TE2.

Michael Carter II, CB, NYJ

While many are focused on potential trade targets at outside cornerback, Philadelphia could opt to go in a different direction. The Eagles hosted veteran free agent cornerback Mike Hilton for a visit before he signed with the Indianapolis Colts earlier this season.

Hilton has primarily played slot cornerback, yet the Eagles were clearly intrigued. If the Eagles are open to moving Cooper DeJean to outside cornerback full-time, Roseman should give the New York Jets a call about Michael Carter II.

Carter signed a three-year contract extension with the Jets when Joe Douglas was still New York’s general manager. Carter is only 26-years old and would fit Philadelphia’s timeline in the secondary alongside Mitchell and DeJean.

Teven Jenkins, OL, CLE

The Browns have two veterans starting guards that could interest the Eagles in Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller. Yet I believe that Philadelphia could be intrigued by backup guard Teven Jenkins, who signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Browns in free agency.

Jenkins is a 27-year-old, former second-round pick with starting experience at left tackle, left guard and right guard. Roseman could view Jenkins as an upgrade over Brett Toth and Matt Pryor, while also being young enough to potentially re-sign and start in 2026.
