Eagles-Lions Week 11 Injury Report: Who Is Playing in Philadelphia?
The Philadelphia Eagles will return home in Week 11 after a hard fought victory over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. But things won’t be getting any easier for the Eagles, as Philadelphia will host the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
Philadelphia’s narrow victory in Green Bay proved costly as several players suffered injuries, including All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson. While the 35-year-old veteran was eventually able to return against the Packers, his status is worth monitoring this week.
The Lions are also dealing with plenty of injuries following a convincing win over the Washington Commanders. Detroit’s own All-Pro right tackle, Penei Sewell, is also banged up after suffering a knee injury in Week 10.
Here is the updated injury report for both the Eagles and the Packers ahead of Monday night’s game.
Eagles Injury Report
Wednesday, November 12th
The Eagles held a walkthrough on Wednesday and player’s participation levels were estimated.
Philadelphia’s offensive line is clearly banged up. Landon Dickerson, Lane Johnson, Cam Jurgens and Tyler Steen were all projected as limited participants. Although the most notable takeaway is that Jurgens was projected to participate at all. He has missed Philadelphia’s last two games due to a knee injury and would provide a boost if he returns in Week 11.
Cal Adomitis, Jakorian Bennett, Darius Cooper, Willie Lampkin and Nolan Smith were all projected as full participants. It’ll be interesting to see if Lampkin will be activated this week and how he’ll eventually be utilized.
Thursday, November 13th
The Eagles received great news during their first full practice of the week. Cam Jurgens was the only player that was listed as a limited participant as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
Lane Johnson, Landon Dickerson and Tyler Steen were all full participants for Thursday’s practice after being estimated as limited participants on Wednesday.
Lions Injury Report
Wednesday, November 12th
Seven players did not participate during Wednesday’s practice for the Lions. Terrion Arnold remains in concussion protocol and it’s uncertain if he’ll play on Sunday night. Aidan Hutchinson didn’t practice but told reporters that he’ll play against the Eagles in Week 11.
The Lions listed eight players as limited participants during Wednesday’s practice. Yet the most notable names are Marcus Davenport and D.J. Reed, as both players had their 21-day practice window opened. Davenport hasn’t played since Week 3 and Reed hasn’t played since Week 4. If they both return against the Eagles, that would provide a massive boost for Detroit’s defense.
Thursday, November 13th
Terrion Arnold, Kerby Joseph and Sam LaPorta did not participate in practice for the second consecutive day. They were also joined by Pat O’Connor, who was downgraded to DNP after being a limited participant during Wednesday’s practice.
Penei Sewell, Sione Vaki, and Brock Wright were upgraded to limited participants on Thursday after they did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Aidan Hutchinson and Graham Glasgow were both upgraded to full participants for Thursday’s practice.
Amik Robertson was a surprise addition to the injury report as he was limited during Thursday’s practice due to a hamstring injury. Robertson was not listed on Wednesday’s injury report.
