Eagles-Cowboys Week 12 Injury Report: Who Is Playing in Dallas?
The Philadelphia Eagles shut down the Detroit Lions en route to another low-scoring victory in Week 11. Now the Eagles will travel on the road to visit their division rival, the Dallas Cowboys, at AT&T Stadium on Sunday.
While the Eagles improved to 8-2 and currently sit atop the NFC, their victory over the Lions proved costly. Philadelphia will reportedly be without All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson for at least four games after he suffered a Lisfranc injury last week.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys appear to be trending in the right direction after a dominant win over the lowly Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night. Although the Eagles defeated the Cowboys in Week 1, both teams will look much different this time around, especially on defense.
Here is the updated injury report for both the Eagles and the Cowboys ahead of Sunday’s game.
Eagles Injury Report
Wednesday, November 19th
As expected, both Lane Johnson and Cam Jurgens did not participate during Wednesday’s practice. While Johnson’s foot injury could force him to be placed on injured reserve, Jurgens’ injury was unknown. Now we know Jurgens is dealing with a concussion and it seems unlikely that he’ll be able to clear concussion protocol and play in Week 12.
It was a surprise to see Jaelan Phillips on the injury report, as he was limited during Wednesday’s practice due to a shoulder injury. Given Phillips’ lengthy injury history, it’s certainly concerning to see his name on the injury report. Yet the fact that he was limited means he should have a chance to play on Sunday.
Myles Hinton had his 21-day practice window opened as he eyes a return from injured reserve. Both Hinton and Willie Lampkin were full participants during Wednesday’s practice and could add much-needed depth to Philadelphia’s offensive line room.
Cowboys Injury Report
Wednesday, November 19th
After playing on Monday night, the Cowboys held a walkthrough on Wednesday and each player’s participation level was estimated.
Dak Prescott was limited due to a hip injury but Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said it is “nothing major” and many expect Prescott to play on Sunday.
Six other players were estimated as limited participants, including All-Pro guard Tyler Smith. It doesn’t seem like any of those players are in jeopardy of missing Week 12 against the Eagles.
Perrion Winfrey was estimated as a full participant after being activated from injured reserve earlier this week. Winfrey could provide more depth for Dallas along the defensive front.
