Eagles-Broncos Week 5 Injury Report: Who Is Playing in Philadelphia?
The Philadelphia Eagles escaped with a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. Yet the Eagles suffered a few more injuries on the road down in Tampa Bay. Jalen Carter, Dallas Goedert, Tyler Steen and Ogbo Okoronkwo each dealt with injuries against the Buccaneers.
Now the Eagles will host the Denver Broncos in Week 5, who are coming off a dominant win over the Cincinnati Bengals. While no team is fully healthy in October, Philadelphia could be at a disadvantage in that category against Denver in Week 5.
Here is the updated injury report for both the Eagles and the Broncos ahead of Sunday’s game.
Eagles Injury Report
Wednesday, October 1st
After missing Week 2 due to a knee injury, Dallas Goedert appeared to have re-aggrevated the same injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. Goedert did not participate in the team’s first practice of Week 5 on Wednesday.
Jalen Carter continues to battle through a shoulder injury that he dealt with during training camp. Carter was officially listed as a limited participant on Wednesday.
The Eagles officially opened the 21-day practice window for Nakobe Dean this week. Dean was listed as a limited participant, as he continues to recover from a knee injury. It’s certainly a positive sign and it’ll be interesting to see if Dean can push to play in Week 5.
Adoree’ Jackson missed last week due to a groin injury despite ending the week as a limited participant in practice. Jackson was limited on Wednesday and the Eagles could opt to take it slow given how Kelee Ringo played in Week 4.
After dealing with a stinger injury last week, Lane Johnson is officially dealing with a shoulder injury now. Johnson was a limited participant during Wednesday’s practice and is clearly banged up.
Broncos Injury Report
Wednesday, October 1st
After playing on Monday night in Week 4, the Denver Broncos did not practice on Wednesday. The team published an official estimated injury report, which included a total of five players. Third-string tight end Nate Adkins was the only player that was estimated to miss Wednesday’s imaginary practice due to a concussion.
