Eagles 2026 7-Round NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Philadelphia Adds Insurance at WR

It’s fair to say that the Philadelphia Eagles fell short of their lofty expectations last season. Following an early playoff exit, the Eagles have already made two notable changes to the coaching staff and more changes could be on the way in the City of Brotherly Love, especially on offense.

Despite surpassing the 1,000-receiving yard mark, Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown certainly wasn’t himself last season. Brown appeared frustrated both on and off the field, as he dropped far too many passes and avoided the media. It’s safe to say that Brown’s future in Philadelphia is questionable, at best.

Meanwhile, Eagles longtime starting right tackle Lane Johnson battled several injuries and was unable to return in the playoffs. Johnson will turned 36-years old in May and there are some that believe he could retire this offseason. Regardless, the Eagles need to find his eventual replacement as soon as possible.

Luckily for Philadelphia, this year’s draft class is loaded with talent at both wide receiver and offensive tackle. Here is the second version of my 2026 seven-round NFL mock draft for the Eagles!

Round 1, Pick 23: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

With Brown’s future uncertain and Jahan Dotson set to become a free agent, the Eagles don’t have much else at wide receiver outside of DeVonta Smith. If Philadelphia plans to eventually move on from Brown, Howie Roseman could elect to select a wide receiver in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion is an explosive, dynamic playmaker that should fit in well in Sean Mannion’s projected offensive scheme. Concepcion is incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of alignments, along with being a threat as a ball carrier. If the Eagles want to utilize more screens in their new-look offense, Concepcion would be a great fit.

Round 2, Pick 54: Max Iheanachor, OL, Arizona State

While the Eagles wait to learn about Lane Johnson’s future, they need to add a promising offensive tackle. Roseman threw a few darts on day three of the 2025 NFL Draft, yet it’s hard to imagine that he feels good enough about any of those players to pass up on addressing offensive tackle early in 2026.

Arizona State offensive tackle Max Iheanachor was one of the biggest risers at this year’s Senior Bowl. He put his athleticism and toughness on display and would serve as an ideal replacement for Johnson, especially given his wealth of experience playing right tackle with over 2,100 snaps for the Sun Devils.

Round 3, Pick 68: Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia

Adoree’ Jackson filled in admirably as CB2 across from Quinyon Mitchell last season. Yet the 30-year-old is slated to be a free agent and the Eagles would likely prefer to find a long-term solution to play alongside both Mitchell and slot cornerback Cooper DeJean.

While Kelee Ringo has failed to impress in Philadelphia, the Eagles could take a chance on another Georgia cornerback. Daylen Everette is far from a finished product, yet his combination of size, physicality and willingness to tackle could all be enticing to Philadelphia’s front office and coaching staff.

Round 3, Pick 98: Sam Roush, TE, Stanford

The Eagles currently have just three tight ends under contract for next season, led by Cameron Latu. It’s clear that Philadelphia will need to address the position in the 2026 NFL Draft and there are plenty of intriguing prospects at the position in this year’s draft class.

Stanford tight end Sam Roush is one of my personal favorite players in the draft due to his combination of size, receiving upside and blocking ability. After last season’s maddening blocking effort from Philadelphia’s tight end group, Roush would immediately help in that area. The Eagles also did pretty well the last time that they drafted a tight end from Stanford that wore #86.

Round 4, Pick 122: Keylan Rutledge, OL, Georgia Tech

Philadelphia’s offensive line simply wasn’t good enough last season and most of the team’s depth options are set to hit free agency. The Eagles need to get back to their old plan of building in the trenches and double-dipping early on the offensive line would be the right move for Philadelphia.

Georgia Tech guard Keylan Rutledge reportedly met with the Eagles at the Senior Bowl and it’s easy to see why Philadelphia would be interested in him. Rutledge is a tough, nasty mauler that would immediately challenge Tyler Steen for the starting job. He played nearly 3,000 snaps at right guard between his time at Middle Tennessee and Georgia Tech.

Round 4, Pick 136: Jalen Stroman, S, Notre Dame

Both Reed Blankenship and Marcus Epps are slated to hit free agency, which could force the Eagles to address safety in the draft. Notre Dame safety Jalen Stroman enjoyed a fresh start in 2025, as he joined the Fighting Irish after playing for four seasons at Virginia Tech.

After Stroman’s final year with the Hokies was cut short by a season-ending injury, he transferred to Notre Dame to rebuild his stock. He showcased his versatility in his fifth and final season in college, as he played all over the defense. Stroman’s aggressiveness downhill, comfort in zone coverage and special teams ability could make him a good fit for the Eagles.

Round 5, Pick 151: George Gumbs Jr., EDGE, Florida

Jalyx Hunt and Nolan Smith Jr. are currently the only notable edge rushers that are under contract for the Eagles next season. While Philadelphia could certainly re-sign a few familiar faces, Roseman and his staff should add at least one edge rusher on day three of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Similar to Hunt, Florida edge rusher George Gumbs Jr. switched positions in college. He walked on at Northern Illinois as a 210 lbs. wide receiver in 2021. Gumbs then made the move to tight end before officially switching to the defensive side of the ball in 2023.

He then transferred to Florida in 2024, where he recorded 35 total tackles, eight tackles for loss and five sacks. While he was unable to match that production in his final season with the Gators, Gumbs’ unique skillset and journey to this moment is likely enticing following the success of Hunt in Philadelphia.

Round 5, Pick 179: Zxavian Harris, IDL, Ole Miss

The Eagles already have a ton of talent along the defensive line with Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo leading the way. Yet the Eagles could opt to invest in more depth upfront with all three players potentially heading into a contract year in 2026.

Ole Miss defensive lineman Zxavian Harris is a mountain of a human being, listed at 6’8” and 330 lbs. The Eagles will have to clear Harris off the field given his questionable history, yet there’s a lot to like on the field. Harris also blocked six kicks during his collegiate career, which was one short of tying the SEC record.
