Eagles 2025 Schedule: Game-By-Game Predictions
The Philadelphia Eagles are still on top of the NFL after winning Super Bowl LIX last season. Yet Philadelphia’s road back to the big game will be significantly harder in 2025, as the Eagles will face one of the league’s toughest schedules during the regular season.
After finishing first place in the NFC East last season and being forced to play against the NFC North and AFC West, the Eagles face an uphill climb back to the mountain top. Here’s a look at Philadelphia’s regular season schedule and my game-by-game predictions for 2025:
Week 1: Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys (Thursday, September 4th at 8:20 PM on NBC/Peacock)
The Eagles will raise their second Super Bowl banner against the Cowboys on opening night as Lincoln Financial Field will certainly be rocking. The Eagles have won three consecutive games against the Cowboys in Philadelphia and I expect that streak to continue in Week 1. Despite adding George Pickens this offseason, Philadelphia’s defense will overwhelm Dallas’ revitalized offense. Eagles win, 31-24.
Week 2: Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, September 14th at 4:25 PM on FOX)
It was clear in Super Bowl LIX that the Eagles were simply better than the Chiefs. While the Eagles lost several starters this offseason, Kansas City has failed to address all of their issues along the offensive line. Despite playing on the road, Jalen Hurts will once again lead his team to victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Eagles win, 30-21.
Week 3: Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, September 21st, at 1:00 PM on FOX)
Following a classic snowy matchup in the postseason, many are excited to watch the Eagles host the Rams in Week 3. While Jared Verse seems to think that there’s a rivalry between the Eagles and Rams, it’s been a one-sided affair. Nick Sirianni is 3-0 against Sean McVay and that trend should continue in 2025. Eagles win, 28-20.
Week 4: Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday, September 28th at 1:00 PM on FOX)
The Eagles got absolutely embarrassed by the Buccaneers in Week 4 in 2024, which ironically helped turn Philadelphia’s season around. Now the Eagles will be looking for revenge against the Buccaneers, hopefully led by a much healthier team this time around. Hurts will have all of his weapons in Tampa Bay and earn his second career win against Todd Bowles. Eagles win, 27-17.
Week 5: Eagles vs. Denver Broncos (Sunday, October 5th at 1:00 PM on CBS)
Denver caught plenty of teams by surprise last season, but that won’t be the case in 2025. The Broncos will be forced to travel across the country and visit the Eagles for a 1:00 PM kickoff. It certainly isn’t a favorable situation for the Broncos and Philadelphia will surely be ready to take advantage of it. Eagles win, 24-14.
Week 6: Eagles at New York Giants (Thursday, October 9th at 8:15 PM on Amazon Prime Video)
It’s no secret that the Eagles have dominated the Giants in recent years, as Philadelphia has won seven of their last eight matchups against New York. Yet the Giants have actually made several notable additions this offseason, highlighted by rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter. While the Eagles should win, their first matchup could be closer than many expect it to be. Eagles win, 21-17.
Week 7: Eagles at Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, October 19th at 1:00 PM on FOX)
The Vikings shocked the NFL by going 14-3 despite losing rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy to a season-ending knee injury. Now McCarthy is healthy and Minnesota’s defense is ready to build on a really impressive season. Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores plays an aggressive scheme that could rattle Jalen Hurts and Philadelphia’s offense on the road. Eagles lose, 27-20.
Week 8: Eagles vs. New York Giants (Sunday, October 26th at 1:00 PM on FOX)
After suffering their first loss of the regular season against the Vikings, the Eagles return home and bounce back against the Giants. Philadelphia will play the Giants twice in a three week span and they’ll make sure to win by a much wider margin this time around. Eagles win, 33-17.
Week 9: BYE
The Eagles took advantage of an early bye week in Week 5 last season following an unexpected 2-2 start. Following a 7-1 start to the regular season in 2025, Philadelphia might cool off after a hot start with several tough opponents on their remaining schedule.
Week 10: Eagles at Green Bay Packers (Monday, November 10th at 8:15 PM on ESPN/ABC)
Philadelphia’s Monday night showdown in Green Bay is one of the biggest games on the NFL’s regular season schedule. It’s no secret that the Packers were at the forefront of trying to get the “Tush Push” banned, especially after losing twice to the Eagles last season. While the Eagles will surely like to extend their winning streak in Green Bay, the Packers will get the better of Philadelphia in Week 10. Eagles lose, 28-20.
Week 11: Eagles vs. Detroit Lions (Sunday, November 16th at 8:20 PM on NBC)
After traveling to Lambeau Field, the Eagles will return home to host the Lions on a short week. These two teams haven’t played since Week 1 in 2022 and both teams are now viewed as two of the top Super Bowl contenders in the NFL. Detroit’s offense has the firepower to go blow for blow with the Eagles and they’ll hand Philadelphia their second consecutive loss following the bye week. Eagles lose, 27-21.
Week 12: Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (Sunday, November 23rd at 4:25 PM on FOX)
The Eagles have really struggled to beat the Cowboys on the road if Dak Prescott is healthy. Dallas has won five consecutive home games against the Eagles if Prescott starts at quarterback. While it isn’t exactly a guarantee that Prescott will be healthy at this point in the regular season, I’ll say that he will be healthy and the Eagles will lose their third consecutive game. Eagles lose, 31-24.
Week 13: Eagles vs. Chicago Bears (Friday, November 28th at 3:00 PM on Amazon Prime Video)
Thanks to winning Super Bowl LIX and being one of the top teams in the NFL, Philadelphia will have to deal with playing an awkward schedule at times. That includes a matchup against the Bears on Black Friday at 3:00 PM. Despite playing on a short week against Ben Johnson and the rising Bears, Philadelphia’s crowd will be fired up and power the Eagles to a much-needed victory. Eagles win, 24-20.
Week 14: Eagles at Los Angeles Chargers (Monday, December 8th at 8:15 on ESPN/ABC)
While many expected the Chargers to take a step back last season, that didn’t happen during Jim Harbaugh’s first season back as a head coach in the NFL. Los Angeles was a tough team that showed the ability to contend with the best teams in the league. The Eagles will take advantage of an extended week of rest and win a shootout on the west coast. Eagles win, 37-31.
Week 15: Eagles vs. Las Vegas Raiders (Sunday, December 14th at 1:00 PM on FOX)
For the second time this season, the Eagles will host a team at 1:00 PM that is forced to travel across the country. While the Raiders revamped their coaching staff and roster this offseason, it simply won’t be enough to compete in Chip Kelly’s return to Philadelphia. The crowd at Lincoln Financial Field will certainly let Kelly hear it as the Eagles dominate one of the weaker opponents on their regular season schedule. Eagles win, 34-13.
Week 16: Eagles at Washington Commanders (Saturday, December 20th at TBD on FOX)
Nobody expected the Commanders and Jayden Daniels to have the performances that they did last season. Now Washington will have a target on their back as the rest of the NFL looks to prove that last season’s performance was a fluke. Yet that’s easier said than done as Daniels is a legitimate star and the Eagles will likely split their regular season series with the Commanders. Eagles lose, 28-24.
Week 17: Eagles at Buffalo Bills (Sunday, December 28th at 4:25 PM on FOX)
The last meeting between the Eagles and Bills was an overtime thriller that saw Hurts lead Philadelphia to victory. Now the Eagles will be forced to travel to Buffalo in late December against one of the top teams in the NFL. Yet thanks to Saquon Barkley and Philadelphia’s dominant ground game, they should have enough to escape with a close victory in a hostile environment. Eagles win, 24-21.
Week 18: Eagles vs. Washington Commanders (TBD)
It’s clear that the NFL is banking on the Eagles and Commanders replicating their success from last season. While this game could certainly be meaningless for one of these teams, I also believe that it could decide the winner of the NFC East. After losing in Week 16, the Eagles are eager to get their revenge against the Commanders and earn a statement victory over Washington to win the division. Eagles win, 38-24.
